Job Description :

Our client is seeking an Internal Account Manager - IT Finance - UK, SE Eng / Gtr London (ref: J2107) to work alongside Relationship Managers, other Account Managers & Risk to create, build & maintain excellent relationships with vendor, dealer and broker partners to deliver best in class pre-sales support in order to maximize lease volumes & profitability.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Work alongside a team of Account Managers & Relationship Managers to develop & maintain existing broker programs in terms of relationship & business volume.
Provide support for the Account Manager & Broker Manager within the Hi-Tech small ticket channel.
On a day to day basis build strong relationships with dealer / broker partners & become the first internal point of contact for proposals, quotations (using KPMG Classic / HP 17 as appropriate), documentation, risk queries & appeals, systems training & ad-hoc queries to generate the required sales volume.
Proactively make telephone calls to our dealer / broker partners to ensure a consistent & high level of service & source both new & repeat business.
Manage dealer / broker pipelines on a regular basis, & actively close deals where possible by discussing the requirements of the broker & end-user customer.
Input proposals into system having gathered accounts & all relevant information from the dealer / broker (where applicable) to assist Risk in making a quick informed decision. 
Ensure proposals are promptly acted upon once a credit decision has been returned.
Manage risk declines & act as first point of contact for appealing decisions.
When necessary collate funding & customer documentation, review & prepare for pay-out. 
Promote and sell pricing policy & negotiate on rate where applicable or refer to Relationship Manager.
Delivery of agreed business & personal targets & personal objectives including volume, margins & earnings. 

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Excellent customer care skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills, with accuracy & attention to detail.
Good negotiation skills.
Strong credit skills to present deals & challenge referrals and declines – preferred. 
Ability to use KPMG Classic tool & HP17 or equivalent.
Good time management, organisational skills & ability to prioritise & work to deadlines.
2 years+ experience in sales support \ internal sales function – preferred, but not essential.
Highly numerate & practical problem solving capabilities.
IT skills to include word/excel/ & ability to learn new IT products.

We strongly favour applicants with proven relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
