J2209 - Our client is seeking an Associate Director, Leasing - UK, S Eng or N Eng to originate new business transactions for the UK Leasing portfolio. You will also prepare, submit and present Credit applications for new business as well as manage relationships for allocated and new customers. Your key remit is to work co-operatively with the UK Leasing team to deliver the annual targets.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Originate new business transactions for the UK Leasing portfolio.
Prepare, submit and present Credit applications. This will include using internal and external modelling software as well as producing financial analysis.
Effectively manage relationships with existing and new customers.
Assist the Director, Leasing as and when required with new business applications and presentations.
On a semi-annual basis, work with other members of the team to produce a review of the Leasing portfolio.
Assist in the delivery of the annual UK Leasing budget.
Manage arrears payment issues and distressed clients.
Carry out other tasks assigned by the company from time to time.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Degree level qualification.
Leasing knowledge and experience.
Sales experience in an asset finance environment.
Transportation asset knowledge.
Ability to prepare and present Credit applications, including financial analysis.
Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Effective communication skills and a flexible, adaptable approach to working are required.
Previous experience of working in a banking environment is desirable.

We strongly favour applicants with proven relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
