PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Degree educated.
10+ year industry expertise within a high-tech or consulting environment.
Ability and acumen to work throughout Europe; credible enough to impact in-country teams.
Record of building strong customer relationships throughout organizations (sales, finance, marketing).
Sales, business, and pipeline development aptitude required.
A level of comfort with sales revenue targets as a basis for performance measurement.
Business skills (financial accounting, ROI, TCO, budget planning, organizational design).
Leverage broad knowledge pragmatically to solve the business problem at hand.
Experience with new solution selling approaches: capacity on demand, software as a service, pay per use, etc.
Application of time-value-of-money concepts and calculations, financial and leasing skills in solving business problems.
Ability to communicate complex topics to an audience with varying levels of functional knowledge.
Understanding technology solutions and the benefits that can be realized through the application of these solutions in customer environments.
Presentation skills (public speaking, meeting facilitation and white boarding).
Ability to travel in Europe and, less frequently, to the USA.
A second European language is highly desirable.
