Our client is seeking an experienced operations manager to develop and manage a team to undertake the back and mid-office functions of the asset finance business. This will include underwriting, risk, administration and collections. Transactions will be in the small and middle ticket sectors, for a broad spread of asset types, and will include both “flow” business and more structured, bespoke transactions. Candidates will need to have functionally broad asset finance expertise within the small and middle ticket sectors.

Additionally, you will need:

  • An excellent knowledge of all aspects of risk within the sector.
  • Experience of non-standard transactions and deal structures.
  • A sound commercial awareness and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate.

Although this is an Head of Operations position, this is very much a “sleeves-up” role and the requirement is for a team player who will be directly involved in the day-to-day business as well as being a leader. Whilst the responsibilities of this role are multi-jurisdictional, the working language is English. Fluency in another European language could be useful but is not a requirement for the role.
