“We are delighted to announce these three finalists from among the many applications we received” said Steve Taplin. “Its really important for the industry to keep on looking out for new ways in which technology can create new value for new and existing customers, improve the customer journey, and a time when the economic outlook is less certain, to drive down the cost to serve. The fintech Innovators Award is one way to achieve that.”

AFC Fintech Innovators Award sponsored by Lendscape welcomes applications from innovative solutions providers with great ideas which are pre-launch, start-up or established and scaling. Three finalists are identified twice a year before each Asset Finance Connect conference. Each finalist is invited to pitch their idea to an audience of auto and equipment finance specialists who vote on the idea that they think is most likely to succeed. Their votes are combined with three judges lead by Steve Taplin to find a winner.

The Autumn AFC Innovators Award is being judged by:

  • Steve Taplin, managing director, Lendscape
  • Ylva Oertengren, chief commercial officer, Simply
  • Andrew Martin, chief data officer, Credicar

Christian Roelofs, CEO of Finativ, who is usually a judge was not able to attend this years event (we had to move date at the last minute due to a rail strike.) Christian will be back!
