Our client is a global asset management and remarketing company who specialise in Construction / Plant & Machinery and Trucks.

They are growing their field-based sales team, and as such are now looking to appoint a Senior Business Development Manager to cover the territory encompassing everything from the Midlands to the Borders.

The role will have responsibility for sales delivery within your territory, building and developing relationships with prospective clients, whilst maintaining existing relationships to ensure ongoing and repeat business.

You will be responsible for negotiation of rates and terms for new business, liaising at key decision maker level, to generate commercially acceptable transactions.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in new business development/account acquisition, with the ability to also manage and nurture relationships on an ongoing basis.

A knowledge of the asset finance/remarketing space would be a distinct advantage, along with strong communication and presentation skills, and a high degree of self-motivation.
