Our client is the fast-expanding asset finance division of a bank and provide a range of lending products for the UK SME and mid-corporate sectors.
As part of their ambitious plans they are keen to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to work within their Sales team.
You will be a key member of the Structured Asset Finance business focussing on origination of new business through building a broad network across a range of brokers, accountants, insolvency practitioners and other key business introducers.
You will be required to identify opportunities, qualifying them as a fit and interfacing both with the introducers and end customers. You will need to submit proposals to 1st line credit that are well presented and convey all the relevant information required to assess the opportunity. Thereafter, you will be required to work in partnership with other functions, including Asset Management and Operations to drive a high conversion ratio of credit approvals to completed, funded transactions.
You will be required to build strong external and internal relationships to deliver a successful and sustainable business line, at all times ensuring positive customer outcomes.
You will have a proven track record in Sales from an Asset Finance background in a similar role and be able to work in a fast paced environment.
