Our client is a highly respected vendor and equipment finance company who operate across a broad range of assets and due to growth are looking to recruit a Business Analyst.

The Business Analyst will be responsible for helping leverage data and identify opportunities for improvement, as well as recognise potential issues and offer solutions.  The Business Analyst will be working within the Business Change team on project delivery for system changes and implementations. This is a key role in the project lifecycle as it is crucial to  capture and trace data requirements to ensure all business data and reporting needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting in-progress European Central Bank regulatory project, ensuring data usage is accurate and in line with regulations and Group policy.
  • Working in collaboration with Project Managers, Management Information (MI) teams and Senior Stakeholders to fully understand data content and improve data quality.
  • Collecting data, interpreting data and analysing results.
  • Identifying patterns and trends in datasets.
  • Investigate ways to improve data quality, make recommendations and introduce solutions.
  • Visualising the data to convey complex data sets into meaningful management information.
  • Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes.
  • Defining the process for how data will be captured and managed.

Key Skills:

  • VBA skills– Advanced Excel knowledge, data analytics, SQL.
  • Data QA exposure: data cleansing, tuning, and error handling experience.
  • Experience translating large data sets into insights using data analysis techniques and visualisation tool.
  • Process mapping skills and experience of leading or facilitating process design and business architecture worked. 
  • Proven ability to work alongside a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Exposure to IT Project Management techniques and the end to end Software development life cycle. 
  • Knowledge of the Asset Finance Industry and products offered. (not essential but experience in Finance sector is a must).
