Our client is a leading specialist bank operating in the heart of Manchester. They are currently seeking a talented and ambitious ALM Analyst – Treasury to join their dynamic team.

The ALM Analyst will play a pivotal role in ensuring robust governance and meeting MI requirements. Reporting directly to the Treasurer, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with the broader finance team. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, providing flexibility while contributing to the bank’s continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare committee packs for presentations, offering valuable insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Deliver comprehensive reports on the bank’s interest rate exposure and analyse the behavioural duration of the loan book.
  • Evaluate the performance of the swap portfolio and hedging strategy.
  • Conduct thorough cash flow forecasting to support liquidity management.
  • Provide detailed analysis of the savings market to identify opportunities and risks.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in Treasury, ALM, or a related role within a bank or similar financial services firm.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word for data analysis and reporting.
  • Ambitious and eager to contribute to a dynamic and agile organization.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
