James George Recruitment are delighted to have partnered with a high-end finance firm for the role of Regulatory Compliance Officer.

You will play a big role ensuring the company complies with all applicable regulations, policies and procedures.

Your key responsibilities will be focused on compliance awareness and monitoring, supporting the company’s policies and FCA monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To be involved in team meetings and projects regarding new regulatory rules, TCF and fraud awareness.
  • To take full responsibility in regulatory changes, compliance policies and procedures, including writing and updating them.
  • To deliver compliance inductions to new staff and liaise with HR for compliance training.
  • To assist with the annual risk assessment.
  • To carry out and review controls and checks in line with audit actions.
  • To ensure introducers are sent the policy guidelines.
  • To help create and update compliance surveys, collating responses and updating.
  • Maintain Compliance spreadsheets and monitor complaints reporting.
  • Other ad hoc duties as required by the business.

Key Skills:

  • Good working knowledge of FCA regulations, TCF & Fraud awareness is essential.
  • Experience working within the Asset Finance industry is highly preferable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and diligence is key.
  • Advanced time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to use your own initiative, including when under pressure.
  • Ability to proactively identify and suggest new ideas for improvements.
