Our client is a very successful lending solutions provider into the UK SME sector who have been a rapidly growing their business tripling the size of the book over recent years. They have a fantastic opportunity to appoint someone who can run a team, circa 40 staff through a small team of direct reports covering New Business Processing , Payouts and Customer Service.


  • Driving and developing the operational team within asset finance.
  • Owning and participating in challenging and ambitious targets, providing personal energy and drive to ensure appropriate resources are in place to deliver.
  • Ensuring effective liaison with sales, underwriting, finance, and other relevant internal/external functions to develop and enhance customer service.
  • Working with colleagues in Credit to ensure appropriate policies and procedures are in place and adhered to.
  • Working with the development team to ensure the ongoing improvement of the front and back-office systems.
  • Designing and delivering timely and accurate management reporting to enable sound decision making and ensure the board and other stakeholders are reliably informed.
  • Building and developing effective operating systems and processes surrounding asset finance proposition and ensuring effective data capture and reporting to enable informed decision making.
  • Supporting a resilient risk management framework encompassing operational and other enterprise risks.
  • Ensuring the team provide timely attendance to queries and amendments including changes in requirements, documentation, and policies.


  • 2 years in a similar leadership role in Asset Finance / Invoice Finance / Motor Finance or other introducer led financial services institution.
  • Have led multi-disciplinary teams within a wide raging operational function/
  • Can demonstrate strength in formulating, documenting, and delivering operational change to improve business delivery.
  • Confident and professional communicator at senior leadership level, effectively delivering messaging upwards and at a whole business level.
