J2390 - Our client is seeking an entrepreneurial Business Development Director to generate new business and subsequently grow an effective sales team within Direct and Channel IT finance. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the UK team to grow and shape the business organically and become key to the company's long-term success. Salary: £80,000 - £130,000 plus excellent bonus and benefits. Location: UK, London (preferred).

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Identify and develop new programs and relationships within the IT sector and add value by providing innovative financial solutions to vendors and their customer base.
Manage the delivery of the financial solutions including initial transaction structuring, customer pricing, negotiation of customer documentation and pay out process while taking into account their individual needs and keeping the best interests of the business in mind.
Using contacts and knowledge of the technology sector to bring on board programmes and relationships - originating new business from scratch, utilising personal canvassing, sales origination tools, social networking, the internet and trade journals / shows along with your own network of existing connections.
Develop the products to meet the needs of these customers including pricing and structure of the program.
Write and deliver proposals and presentations to prospective customers, outlining details of the proposition and be able to confidently answer any questions .
Work with both the business to enhance financial models to be offered to customers when structuring deals.
Act as a key team member to grow the existing UK business by building an effective sales team.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

5-10 years' experience in the IT finance sector.
Delivery of significant relationships and programmes within the technology sector.
Strong residual value financing experience.
You will be a rain-maker with entrepreneurial flair as this truly is an opportunity to be part of a UK team to grow and shape the business and be a key person in their future success.
You will ideally be located close to London where the office is based.
Locations further afield will be considered but there will be a requirement for the successful applicant to be in London three days a week.
Ability to leverage existing contacts and knowledge of the technology sector to bring on board new programmes and relationships.
Experienced in starting initiatives at grass roots without the need for supervision, with the imagination and passion to grow a business.
You must thrive in a performance-based reward environment.
