The core aspects of the role will be a sales and account management activity in sourcing and managing new and existing clients and partners. You will have responsibility for pricing buybacks, negotiating with the client, agreeing logistics and completing all necessary documentation for the client relating to data erasure and environmental handling. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Lead and manage the UK Buyback Channel.
Account manage existing buyback clients.
Identify suitable organisations to contact for the possible buybacks (to include; end users, resellers, leasing companies).
Identify suitable organisations to contact for us to sell IT equipment to.
Arrange for Collection of the equipment with the client and our own logistics team, however logistics team will arrange the actual collection.
Provide quotations to organisations on the value of the buyback of equipment.
Specifically seek out resellers to start partnerships with and account manage the relationship to maximise revenue.
Build a database of organisations to target for buyback sales.
Work with our marketing manager to draw up a marketing strategy to possible clients.
Deal with client questions during the buyback process to positively contribute to the development of the international buyback business.
Input pricing into the system for buyback orders.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Proven track record in a similar sales environment.
Knowledge and detailed understanding of present and planned future legislation and regulation relating IT refurbishment.
Good understanding of IT (eg from equipment manufacturer, reseller, already involved in recycling business).
Sales skills.
Knowledge of the IT market.
Could be a remarketing person with IT experience.
Will need to sit in front of corporates so need to be professional and personable.
Good communicator.
Ability to influence and manage others.
Team player.
Act with integrity at all times and embrace the philosophy of treating customers fairly.
Flexible location (with regular travel to Thames Valley office / 1-2 days per week).
