Job Description :

J2424 - Our client is seeking a Credit Analyst to work within the Wholesale Risk department responsible for managing all aspects of the credit risk associated with a portfolio of motor dealers. Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 plus excellent bonus and benefits. Location: UK, Redhill / Gtr London.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Prepare and complete credit reviews for wholesale financing business, to both appropriate standards, schedules and compliance with Wholesale Risk Policy, including basic data input, financial analysis and consideration of the retail performance of the dealer.
Support underwriters with the processing and completion of legal documentation, securities and other related documentation for funded dealers, including effective liaison with appropriate 3rd parties.
Ensure compliance with the conditions of any sanction prior to the release of funds.
Review stock audit reports including liaison with field staff and 3rd parties in the event of any discrepancies.
Collect risk monitoring information, analysing this information and identifying all credit risks relating to funded dealers.
Provide key support to funded dealers and client's Sales team with respect to wholesale funding and credit line queries.
Undertake dealer visits (when necessary) to interview business owners / directors, obtaining relevant financial and non-financial information in order to provide recommendations to the appropriate underwriting authority.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Experience in credit underwriting, deal structuring and client facing situations.
Familiarity with bureau data sources and external data useful to credit underwriting.
Strong numerical and analytical skills with an understanding of the key financial ratios.
Knowledge of the Motor Finance sector or similar vendor finance environment would be a distinct advantage.
Strong all round PC skills.

We strongly favour applicants with proven relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Motor Finance or generic Asset Finance and Leasing.
