J2418 - Our client is seeking a German speaking Customer Finance Manager to support the sales team on a day to day basis in all aspects of arranging finance leasing transactions with emphasis on the markets of Benelux, Germany, Austria, UK and Switzerland. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Liaising with funders and brokers and managing external relationships ensuring high quality service levels are maintained.
Assisting the sales teams in utilising the effective use of finance to win sales.
Providing day to day support to sales teams to include discussing lease options with sales reps and customers, creating and pricing lease solutions tailored to customer needs and attending customer visits.
Pricing, quoting and structuring of lease transactions to optimize revenue/profit opportunity within accepted risk parameters.
Requesting and reviewing credit information and managing risk evaluation process for recourse transaction including making and presenting business recommendations to management and obtaining credit approvals from finance partners.
Liaising with funding partners, brokers and customers to ensure timely completion of documentation, compliance with conditions of approval and prompt pay out of transactions.
Generating fee income from the placement of lease transactions with funders.
Interacting with back office functions including logistics, customer service and finance to manage financial aspects of transactions on a cradle to grave basis.
Utilising CRM system to record lease activity and running and analysing reports to assist in targeting and reporting of leasing activity.
General administration duties including maintaining records to track leasing activities, end of term and liability reporting.
Assisting with maintainence and development of adequate funding lines to support business needs.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Educated to University degree level (preferably in Finance or Business).
Minimum 5 years work experience gained in a sales, sales support or customer service role within a lease company or vendor finance business.
Fluency in English and German is essential. Working knowledge of Dutch or French is an advantage.
Experience with lease pricing tools and Excel spreadsheets including use of Goal seek function.
Ability to read, analyse and interpret business plans, audited accounts and financial statements an advantage.
Some Credit underwriting experience is an advantage.
Familiarity with lease and finance products, particularly in focus countries is an advantage.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Advanced Level Excel.
Experience using SAP and Salesforce.com is an advantage.
Passion for fitness/sports is beneficial.
Driving licence is a plus.
