KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Manages, owns and plays a major role in sales process for opportunities with new prospects and existing customers. Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry and analyzing sales options in order to best position client to win business. Includes sales presentations, RFP's, price negotiations, contract negotiations and close processes.
Representation at tradeshows, industry association conferences and other special events, which include company annual conference. Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
Generate qualified leads by contacting and following up with individuals and companies included in marketing campaigns to determine and qualify interest in client' products and services. Ability to present results of progress on activities during sales meetings.
Responsible for understanding the market landscape including competitors, customers and prospects businesses in or order to effectively drive, communicate and make suggestions as it relates to strategic direction along with regular communication on changes within competitive landscape.
Track and Manage competitor information in a format that can be easily accessed and used by individuals throughout the organization. Duties will include quarterly report to sales and management group on new information
Responsible for managing and maintaining accurate information, along with 100% CRM usage for sales reporting such as pipeline reporting and win/loss ratios.
Being a strategic team player that can see the bigger strategic picture through education and understanding of business in order to drive, initiate and promote various activities to improve the efficient operations of the sales department in a way that is consistent and well aligned with company direction and goals.
Ability to be an internal champion of customer through detailed understanding of their business and the industry in order to organically sell deeper into their organization.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, Finance, Accounting or related field or the equivalence of.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service skills, both internally and externally.
Strong sales, negotiation and closing skills.
Strong territory and account management skills.
Software finance sales skills.
Ability to demonstrate software product functionality to new prospects and existing customers.
Interact and communicate with individuals at all levels in the organization and wider equipment finance industry.
Ability to travel up to 30% is required. Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation at all times.
