KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Lead the UK Finance & Commercial Digital Strategy Roadmap implementation.
Provide project management discipline and expertise to digital finance improvement and delivery of the improvement work or ideas that has been identified and agreed.
Provide guidance, support and know how on the ability to set up and run these internal projects including visual based techniques for improvement.
Define and prepare the necessary business cases based on the ability to add new sales volume, reduce operating expenses or improve the customer experience.
Identify new digital finance opportunities to improve existing processes based on current business performance, agreed service level agreements, or the changing external landscape.
Engage stakeholders to introduce, change, test and validate ideas for improved customer journeys and experiences.
Execute on digital Improvement projects based on own technical skills and under usage of market understanding – leveraging the overall market understanding of the business.
Lead the Change and Continuous Improvement activities in Digital Finance to develop the skills and competencies required across the Business.
Monitor continuously the status of all assigned projects .
Contribute to and consolidate projects (plans, budgets, resources, operation status) and completes reports as required.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Best practice sharing and benchmarking experience would be advantageous along with project management skills and an understanding of emerging technologies such as RPA, AI and Blockchain.
Process orientated with track record of managing teams is essential.
Knowledge of finance / commercial processes and back office support functions.
Demonstrable experience of managing large and complex projects.
Leadership and Management experience essential .
Expert in business and process improvement techniques (e.g. Lean, 6 Sigma).
Project experience in applying agile methodologies (e.g. SCRUM, DevOps).
Successfully performed a similar role within either the B2C or B2B environments.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to engage with external and internal stakeholders.
Ability to operate effectively within a matrix organisation.
IT proficient.
