Job Description :

J2524 - Our client is seeking a Relationship & Collateral Manager to assume responsibility for managing the day to day administration and smooth running of our ABL client relationships. You will monitor a varied portfolio of Asset Based Lending relationships, tracking and analysing collateral availability, processing loan advances and payments and providing exceptional customer service in accordance with legal and regulatory guidelines. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Provide customer service for assigned clients – being happy to interact directly with clients and be the primary point of contact.
Process and analyse client Borrowing Base Certificates, advance request and collections on a daily basis.
Input daily activity into the ABL loan system and verify that each client’s daily Collateral Report agrees to the balance on the ABL loan system.
Process agent settlement notifications upon request.
Update trend report for assigned clients.
Process and analyse required monthly reporting .
Complete client month end analysis with ineligible workup, concentrations and trend reports on a timely basis.
Reconcile monthly bank accounts.
Responsible for ensuring interest and fees are accurately calculated on assigned accounts.
Assist with new client set-up and payout as needed.
Supports and communicates client operational issues.
All other duties as assigned by management.
This role will appeal to an individual who is willing and able to build out our ABL in-life management capability as a subject matter expert.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

College degree or a minimum of three years industry related experience.
Working knowledge of ABL products/services and offerings.
Assist with bank reporting requirements as needed.
Assist other bank department such as accounting, operations and cash management as needed.
Assist with the set up/onboarding of new clients.
Problem Solving - requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Level of Decision Making - requires the ability to make decisions based on risk and know when to turn to higher authority.
Experience of the HPD system would be a significant advantage.
Required strong organisational skills.
Ability to prioritise workload and multitask multiple responsibilities
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work independently.
