You will manage the business flow and generation of new opportunities within existing accounts and contribute to achievement of goals by providing dedicated financial solutions. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Work closely with the Managing Director and the Business Development Team on the strategic orientation of the division.
Involvement in planning product and business expansion strategies in the approved regions.
Identify new and develop existing Group relationships and other vendor and key accounts in the UK and Europe in which client offering can add value by providing innovative financial solutions.
Such financial solutions may include provision of Vendor finance programs (either directly or through 3rd party partner), offering end customer leasing facilities (either directly or cross border), financing of Managed Service Contracts (through purchase of receivables structure) or providing stock finance/cash flow management solutions to support business growth.
Manage the delivery of the financial solutions including initial transaction structuring, customer pricing, negotiation of customer documentation and pay out process.
Identify new markets sectors and develop the products to meet the needs of these customers including pricing and structure of the program involved.
Act as the initial point of contact for all new customers and vendors assigned when dealing with queries, pricing and proposals.
Where necessary, to build and submit credit applications for each proposal and where programs are of significant value and size proposals present these to Credit Committee for review.
Work closely with all members of the wider team and build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Continuously look for new ways to improve existing programs and solutions to add further value to company and the vendor base.
Work with colleagues across the various divisions to develop products which meet the needs of the customer and promote cross divisional working.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Educated to degree level ideally in a related discipline i.e. Business Studies, Economics, Finance.
Attained an industry recognised qualification (ACA, CMFA or AMCT etc).
Minimum 5 years’ experience of working in a corporate sales environment within the leasing industry, with European roles that covered working with vendors and customers of varying nationalities.
Able to demonstrate experience in dealing with European businesses.
Multicultural approach to dealing with customer requirements in different countries.
Understanding of vendor finance programs and risk sharing structures is essential for this role.
Confidently deliver presentations at C-Level as well as talk through the customer’s financials as part of the credit review process.
Demonstrable commercial awareness.
Excellent written and verbal skills, this is essential when communicating to customers and when writing proposals and presentations.
Excellent analytical skills in order to provide complex MI and interpret financial statements.
Excel skills to be able to produce detailed reports in a format that is easy to understand.
Self-motivated, with the ability to self-manage and use own initiative.
Have experience in working with teams as an integral part of a team.
Knowledge of other European languages would be an advantage.
