J2512 - Our client is seeking a Hard Assets Account Manager to maximize, manage and monitor all aspects of business generated from a defined territory, either dealer or customer (end user) introduced. You will forge strong relationships with dealer sales staff whilst ensuring that dealer credit facilities are kept current and the rules regarding inventory financing are adhered to. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Ensure that the client is considered to be the preferred finance partner within the franchised dealer network; not only in respect of both branded and non-branded equipment.
Professionally account manage the partner relationship including analysis of key areas including CSi feedback, actual business introduced, analysis of finance penetration and dealer signing performance.
Ensure that dealer sales staff are adequately trained in order to use finance when selling equipment.
Work with dealer order books and brand territory managers to ensure facilities are maintained to allow units to flow smoothly.
Liaise with other departments within the organisation to limit risk costs in the retail and inventory finance environments.
Maintain strong relationships with key strategic customers to ensure products can be delivered when required.
Build knowledge of customer buying plans and provide professional financial proposals for the credit (underwriting ) team which includes a professional analysis of the customer’s financial statements together with a full description of their business activities.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

A minimum of five years working as an account manager or manager within either the hard asset finance or agricultural industry.
Clean UK driving license.
Although working remotely the individual must be operate as a team player.
Ability to communicate / interact at all levels and in all environments, i.e. from a one-man operation to a complex large multi-depot organization.
Be confident and have the ability to undertake training; whether it is a small intimate group or a large class room scenario.
Demonstrate a good understanding of agricultural / rural issues.
Have a good understanding of finance products and financial statements.
Have the ability to prioritize workloads in order to meet strict deadlines.
Be a friendly and approachable individual with the ability to build long term relationships built on trust whilst not being afraid to assert the company’s best interests when the need arises.
Be willing and prepared to “go the extra mile” when required.
Be comfortable with change.

We strongly favour applicants with proven relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
