J2566 - Our client is seeking a Sales Manager Regional to identify, source and secure asset finance business comprising finance brokers, business introducers, equipment suppliers and direct customers. Your core objective is to achieve targeted volume, yield, term and fees. Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 plus excellent bonus and benefits. Location: UK, Scotland, London, SW Eng or East Mids.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Identify suitable sources of business (predominantly brokers), develop enduring business relationships with them and maximise the business opportunity for from these sources.
Act as the main point of contact for these business sources to assist in structuring deals and resolving issues that the office-based Sales Support team have escalated.
Develop strong working relationships with counterparts within the rest of the business to maximise the business opportunity for both Asset Financing and the wider group.
Fully complete customer write-ups for larger or more complex or higher risk transactions (for Direct deals, or to supplement/improve the submission from broker/introductory source).
Fully complete visit sheets following visits to brokers and customers as required to comply with Credit Policy.
Asset inspections and default calls, within the prescribed timescales, to comply with Credit Policy.
Be responsible for improving the quality of submissions from the introductory sources where required by Credit.
Create clear and simple growth plan for each broker, so all key stakeholders know what support is required to maximise the potential volume from each broker.
Be accountable for the overall new business performance from the defined geography.
Achieve new business targets.
Maintain the company’s compliance standards at all times, ensuring timely completion of all mandatory on-line training modules and attestations

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Minimum 3 years’ sales experience of asset finance and leasing market.
Minimum 3 years’ experience of successfully on-boarding new introductory sources by selling the value proposition.
Minimum 2 years’ experience financing hard assets.
Minimum 2 years’ experience of structuring transactions to meet customers’ cashflow requirements and maximising yield and fees for the funder.
2 years’ experience of financing hard assets in ‘tier 3 & 4’ sectors advantageous.
2 years’ experience of managing and growing existing introductory source relationships advantageous.
Specialist knowledge of the hard asset finance market is essential.
Detailed knowledge of required processes to structure transactions in order to achieve acceptable solutions is essential.
Detailed knowledge of key credit requirements to achieve credit approval is essential.
Robust knowledge of the hard asset broker market is essential.

We strongly favour applicants with proven relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
