KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Pro-actively call a defined list of brokers / introducers to enable generation sufficient deals to achieve or exceed the targeted business from each one.
Establish and maintain a robust contact strategy for each broker / introductory source to strengthen business relationship with each one.
Take responsibility for chasing a pipeline of deals with the relevant broker / introductory source contact to maximise conversion rates.
Work closely with internal functions to explore and negotiate alternative terms in order that more challenging deals can meet credit approval.
Fully engage with and sell the company value proposition over the phone to broker / introducer contacts.
Achieve new business targets.
Be accountable for ensuring that deals are managed in line with Credit Policy.
Attend meetings with brokers / introductory sources face to face as and when appropriate.
Act as the main point of contact for these brokers / introductory sources to assist in structuring deals.
Develop strong working relationships with colleagues within the rest of wider organisation to maximise the business opportunity for both companyand the group.
Create clear and simple growth plan for each broker and introductory source, so all key internal stakeholders know what support is required to maximise the potential volume from each broker / introductory source.
Maintain the company’s compliance standards and ensure timely completion of all mandatory on-line training modules.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Previous experience asset finance in a Sales or Sales Support role is essential.
Experience financing hard assets is desirable.
Sales experience in asset finance is desirable.
Previous experience of dealing with customers / brokers via telephone is desirable
Detailed knowledge of the hard asset finance market is essential.
Detailed knowledge of asset finance products to structure transactions is essential.
Detailed knowledge of key credit requirements to achieve credit approval is desirable.
Good knowledge of broker market is desirable.

We strongly favour applicants with proven relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
