Job Description :

J2583 - Our client is seeking a high profile UK Sales Manager, IT & Office Equipment Finance to develop and lead its UK sales strategy and business plan to maximise lease finance penetration and lease revenue through resellers and vendor partners. Excellent salary, bonus and benefits. Location: UK, Gtr London / Herts

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Lead the UK sales team.
Develop sales strategy and business plan in conjunction with Finance.
Alignment of country channel sales plan to UK sales strategy.
Develop revenue targets for the sales channel and set key performance indicators.
Develop and Implement a variety of new business initiatives to drive sales.
Utilize market and competitor intelligence to adapt sales strategies as appropriate.
Meet with the field sales account managers on a monthly basis to assess performance against KPI’s (Touch Points).
Oversee performance management of non-performing sales members.
Negotiate agreements/contracts with customers and ensure they meet commerciality acceptable targets.
Implement an effective sales pipeline and lead tracking process.
Ensuring the CRM is being used effectively.
Implementing best practice in sales techniques throughout the team.
Present sales results to the next tier management on a monthly basis.
Speak at conferences and events about company finance products and services.
Ensure the organization has an effective sales and regulatory training program.
Member of the Local Management Committee.
Member of Local Risk Committee.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Preferred: Educated to Bachelor’s degree level (Masters desirable).
Over 10 years’ experience in functional discipline.
Broad and deep knowledge of sales, products, vendor/client agreements, business economics.
Previous experience working as a sales manager/director ideally for a similar organization.
Natural leader with an ability to inspire performance with sales teams.
Strong commercial outlook and an entrepreneurial approach to business development.
Formal sales training would be an advantage but not essential.
Proven track record of achieving sales growth and delivery of results to business plans.
Experience of managing a collection of inherently related activities.
Interaction with others is critical and is concerned with influencing, developing and motivating people, changing behaviour and creation of the right business climate.
Awareness and experience of working in a Regulatory environment.
In depth knowledge of asset finance credit risk.
