J2590 - Our client is seeking a Wholesale Manager, IT Finance to lead and mentor a team of Account Managers to build and maintain excellent relationships with existing Vendors, IT Commercial Lessors and Partners to maximise volume and profitability. You will provide guidance, instruction, direction, training and leadership to the account managers and work collaboratively with other internal functions. Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 plus excellent benefits and bonus. Location: UK, Gtr London / Surrey

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Work alongside the sales function, lead a team of Account Mangers to develop and maintain existing programmes with Vendors, IT Commercial Lessors and Partners. Provide general and transactional support to identified Vendors, IT Commercial Lessors and Partners within IT channel.
Provide guidance, direction, training and leadership to the Account Management Wholesale team.
Set and monitor individual and team goals and objectives, delegates and develop strategies and tactics to achieve target.
Work collaboratively with the other functions such as Credit and Risk, New Business and Asset Management to create successful, profitable and sustainable programmes by delivering an outstanding customer journey.
Oversee day-to-day teams’ operation and performance; build strong personal relationships with Partners and become their internal point of contact for proposals, quotations, risk queries and appeals.
Manage Partner’s pipelines, conducting regular reviews on the performance of the programs.
Ensure proposals are promptly acted upon once a credit decision has been returned.
When necessary prepare, collate funding and customer documentation, review and prepare for payout.
Maintain excellent relationships with Partners to generate required sales volume and provide support in terms of system training, paperwork, ad-hoc queries.
Attend regular internal sales and marketing meetings and occasionally with external relationships.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

2 years+ experience in sales support \ internal sales function – preferred, but not essential.
Ability to understand complex financial structures supported by ad hoc documentation.
Ability to lead and develop others by mentoring and providing meaningful feedback.
Critical thinker and problem solving.
Ability to develop and communicate team’s tactics and strategies to achieve set goals and objectives.
Great interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent customer care skills.
Good negotiation skills.
Ability to influence people.
Strong credit skills to present deals and challenge referrals and declines – preferred.

Good time management, organisational skills and ability to prioritise.
