Job Description :

J2604 - Our client is seeking a Strategic Account Manager, Public Sector to develop and drive long term business relationships and engagement with the senior leadership teams within UK NHS Trusts. You will develop appropriate commercial strategies and value propositions tailored to individual accounts to produce sales and profitable growth. Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 plus excellent bonus and benefits. Location: UK, Midlands preferred.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Engage with high level board members of NHS Trusts to develop relationships, identify needs and contribute to creating solutions.
Drive activity, increase market penetration and develop value propositions and ensure that the business can offer these to the correct target audience.
Promote and facilitate cross functional working between Sales, Service, and Finance to establish joint working approach.
Drive sales growth in line with Company sales plan.
Work with the Director of Commercial Strategy and other colleagues to define commercial requirements to grow and protect the business.
Develop strong relationships with key customers enabling quick and sustained growth across the portfolio.
Manage and develop accounts and own the key customer relationships ensuring efficient alignment of all efforts to maximise impact of all activities driving growth.
Develop and work to an agreed business development plan. Focus on highest value/ quickest turn around opportunities to grow and develop new business including taking competitor share and the adoption of new technologies whilst maintaining key customers and core business.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

You will have broad commercial and sales experience gained at a senior level, with a solid understanding of products and services within the healthcare sector.
Significant exposure to NHS leadership with strong existing relationships within this sector particularly within the Finance/CEO functions.
Detailed understanding of NHS Policy across UK and Irish health policy.
A strong communicator with clear understanding of project management and excellent time management skills.
Demonstrable experience in being able to quickly develop an understanding of new operations and processes and interpreting large policy documents efficiently and developing succinct summary documents.
Strong Selling & Negotiating skills with the ability to effectively plan.
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in the sales environment or similar customer facing role.

We strongly favour applicants with proven relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
