J2705 - Our client is seeking a Head of Agriculture to manage, motivate and develop an account management team across multiple locations, providing strong relationship management and risk control over a growing portfolio geared to surpass volume and income targets. You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of strong leadership within the Hard Asset, Agricultural sector. Salary: To £75,000 plus excellent bonus and benefits. Location; UK, Flexible.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Key role would be to deliver significant volume at a blended rate of Tier 1 and 2 category business from either Vendors or Brokers.
You will carry a personal target.
Deals would be expected to be circa £200k upwards, (with good credit/asset coverage).
As well as driving new business, you will also be responsible for managing a team of account managers across the agricultural space .
They would have experience within the mid ticket/corporate/hard asset environment.
Achievement of sales revenue targets through new business sales.
Manage the entire sales process from start to finish, ensuring that the process is managed effectively.
Report on sales prospect pipeline.
Liaise with the company’s executives/directors where appropriate on new sales opportunities and escalating issues where necessary.
Negotiate terms of proposal, prepare documentation in line with agreed procedures and submit for approval.
Contribute new ideas for the development of the business.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

10+ years in a leasing sales role.
Demonstrable track record of success and an appreciation of risk.
Structuring and negotiating bespoke, profitable deals.
Managing and developing accounts.
Wide ranging knowledge of the asset leasing market.
Strong level of negotiating and solution selling skills.
Ability to plan & prioritise time to ensure commitments are met in agreed time-scales.
Ability to influence multiple stakeholders.
Proven ability to identify, qualify, develop and close leasing opportunities.

We strongly favour applicants with proven relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
