KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Responsible for the day to day and end to end management of arrears through to litigation, insolvency, repossession and returns.
Co-ordinate activities of the Collection Team members to ensure a smooth and efficient department that reduces the number of arrears.
Management, motivation and development of Collections team.
Management of live and terminated agreements.
Provide quality orientated customer service.
Produce reports as required on Live Arrears and Terminated Agreements.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Proven work experience within Collections / Credit Control environment.
Results focussed and able to lead teams to achieve a common goal.
Experience of managing a team.
Highly developed knowledge of all matters of law related to contract law, civil litigation (debt recovery) and insolvencies.
Ability to work under pressure and to time limits and deadlines.
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly developed telephone and negotiation skills.
Accuracy, honesty and attention to detail.
Excellent planning and organising skills with the ability to prioritise own workload and those of the team.
Excellent IT skills including MS, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
