You will develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets as well as ensure development, direction and management of strategic initiatives to promote business diversity and long-term performance plans.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Achieve the annual approved company budget, in particular focussing on volume, yields, profit and bad debt.

  • Lead and develop the current sales team, maximise their potential and identify suitable experienced individuals to strengthen the team.

  • Drive business from our key broker introductory sources, strengthening existing relationships and seeking new relationships to add value and volume.

  • Drive business from our current portfolio of direct customers and seek new direct opportunities including supplier introduced business.

  • Drive the niche market portfolio currently being marketed in various sectors and research additional niche market opportunities.

  • Understanding and communicating the credit policy and appetite together with the operational process to maintain and improve service standards and customer loyalty.

  • Promote the finance offering to group businesses and explore reciprocal business opportunities.

  • Undertake specific projects which will be discussed and agreed together from time to time relating to the sales and marketing sector of the business. 

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • Proven experience in a senior sales and management role.

  • Extensive Asset Finance and Leasing industry specific knowledge and experience.

  • Excellent customer service skills as well as exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Outstanding persuasion, presentation and negotiation skills.

  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to motivate people.

  • Knowledge of competitor research and market trend. 

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.

Applicants will only be considered with relevant in-country experience.
