You will work alongside Relationship Managers to drive sales opportunities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop new profitable and sustainable relationship with Partners.

  • Maintain relationships with existing Partners by strengthening financing offer to maximize business.

  • Work collaboratively with Tech sales team to identify opportunities to be introduced to Partners via existing Wholesale Vendors.

  • Regularly visit Partners to attend partner sales meetings and sell financial offering.

  • Build relationships with Partners’ management and sales teams.

  • Deliver sales training, marketing campaigns, finance promotions and attend trade events in order to maintain awareness and knowledge of finance solutions.

  • Where necessary, liaise with Credit and Risk team to help get deals credit approved – this may mean participating in telephone calls/meetings with customers.

  • Hit personal targets in terms of, number of new relationships, number of proposals, sundry fees, income and margin targets

  • Be proactive in making recommendations for ongoing development of systems and processes.

  • Prepare monthly reports for the Partner including activity levels, deals proposed, approved, converted, volumes, profiling etc.

  • Where appropriate, manage pipeline and rate charts for channel partners on a monthly basis. 

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • Verbally demonstrate a sound understanding of equipment finance and knowledge of the industry involved.

  • Good asset finance product knowledge and basic documentation skills (as a minimum).

  • Ability to empathise with the customer and influence customer decisions.

  • From time to time the role will require the individual to stay overnight when visiting vendor partners and customers. Travel mainly in the UK/Ireland.

  • Self-motivated, articulate and professional.

  • Demonstrate strong sales skills and has the ability to close transactions.

  • Full driving License. 

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.

Applicants will only be considered with relevant in-country experience.
