​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​J2981 - Our client is seeking an Internal Vendor Account Manager responsible for managing and on-boarding qualified vendor programmes. You will achieve this through proactive management of vendor relationships and managing transactions from cradle to grave.

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 plus excellent bonus and benefits. Location: UK, Gtr London / Surrey (Hybrid).

 

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the vendor's transactional pipeline for qualified vendors on a day-to-day basis to ensure programmes operates efficiently.

  • Manage formal hand-over of the active programmes to the Sales team as agreed with Head of New Business.

  • Meet with customers in person and via Teams/phone to discuss specific transactions.

  • Meet with vendors within an agreed contact strategy to review pipeline, agree business development plans and establish and resolve any operational issues in a constructive manner.

  • Manage assigned vendor relationships to develop a deal flow of incremental business in line with objectives set by Head of Business Development.

  • Manage the delivery of financial solutions to end user customers including initial transaction structuring while taking into account individual needs and keeping the best interests of internal and external stakeholders in mind. 

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • You will be an exceptional team player who is able to quickly build strong relationships with vendors, their sales team and customers.

  • You will need to be able to manage varied deal flow, price individual transactions, review financial statements and structure deals balancing customer requests within acceptable risk profiles.

  • Relish working under pressure to meet business objectives.

  • Experience in the financial industry is essential.

  • Any additional languages will be an advantage. 

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.

Applicants will only be considered with relevant in-country experience.
