KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide daily managerial oversight and support for execution of operational activity across the business.

  • Line Manage office-based staff and support their delivery against agreed objectives.

  • Set, review and coach performance as required to support team performance.

  • Recruit as agreed to support the delivery of the business plan and its development strategy.

  • Support the implementation of the business development strategy.

  • Lead the delivery and review of operational and risk related controls for the business.

  • Proactively contribute to matters of business management and strategy as appropriate, as a member of the management of the business.

  • Ensure compliance with all company and group procedures and policies, and collaborate with operational and risk management teams to protect the business.

  • Maintain and build working relationships with key stakeholders within the business.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • A high level of commercial acumen with Asset Finance experience, skills and knowledge.

  • A seasoned financial services professional.

  • Sales or Operational leadership experience.

  • Ability to quickly adapt, learn and execute – whilst demonstrating sound judgement.

  • Ability to manage time and adapt to balance a variety of tasks.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills - capable of engaging a team and working across functions to support delivery against objectives.

  • Ability to work under pressure and to stretching objectives.

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.

Applicants will only be considered with relevant in-country experience.
