You will also be responsible for generating your own business volume and fee income via end users, vendors and manufacturers. You may currently be working for a Broker in a sales capacity and have the experience of managing a team.

Salary: c£85,000 plus excellent bonus and benefits. Location: UK, South East England / Essex

 

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the existing office based sales team on a day to day basis.

  • Sell finance products to target markets and secure finance on their behalf through a panel of funders.

  • Target prospective end-users to discuss their financing requirements.

  • Target equipment vendors to discuss leading with finance in their sales proposition.

  • Target equipment manufacturers to discuss adopting a finance scheme to offer to their network of resellers.

  • Contact all leads generated by marketing activity.

  • Raise financing documentation and package for payout by the operations team.

  • Manage the process of onboarding suppliers; application process; rate negotiation; trading agreement; white-labelling.

  • Ensure team processes and controls are followed to enable KPI's to be met.

  • Monitor team KPIs and put actions in place to address changing business needs.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • Minimum of 5 years in asset finance – can be hard and soft assets and both direct and indirect routes to market.

  • Minimum 2 years managing a sales team.

  • Proven business developer with desire to contribute to the team target.

  • Desirable experience working for a brokerage.

  • Understanding of Asset Finance products.

  • Experience in a Financial Services or Internal Sales environment.

  • Strong people management skills.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Good organizational skills.

  • Good time management skills.

  • Good team-working and interpersonal skills.

  • Basic fluency with credit analysis.

  • Basic numerical skills and fluency with financial analysis.

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
