You will expertly evaluate and underwrite proposals within personal risk mandate. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining and promoting good governance, credit processes and agreed service levels for all business origination, approvals, collateral, and management of bad debt where and when necessary.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyse credit data and financial statements to determine the risk involved in extending credit from sales-aid leasing/flow business.

• Interpret and evaluate internal and external credit reference agency, broker and market reports to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit.

• Generate and evaluate financial ratios to evaluate customer's financial status.

• Interpret and evaluate collateral curve analysis to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit.

• Prepare domestic and external risk reports that include the degree of risk involved in extending credit for all flow business channel transactions.

• Maintain compliance with all leading industry guidelines and statutory regulations.

• Timely completion of all risk reports.

• Regular updating of internal risk systems.

• Make recommendations for the ongoing development of systems, processes and practices to provide improvements in efficiency and capacity of the risk team and the business in general. 

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• You will have a minimum of 2 years of credit experience.

• Experience of analysing and interpreting financial statements/data from a variety of industries and commercial backgrounds.

• Excellent analytical skills tempered with a sense of commerciality and business focus.

• Good knowledge of the asset finance industry and the various product offerings and types of funding facilities available.

• Ability to analyse unsecured transactions in the small ticket sector.

• Experience in credit, credit analysis and underwriting of small ticket deals essential with some consumer experience being of benefit.

• Experience in Risk assessment of structured lending/cash flow lending based transactions.

• Ideally located within easy commute of SW London. 

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
