Our client a leading bank owned asset financier are seeking to hire a specialist Relationship Director role to manage and further develop a number of mid corporate customers and work with the parent bank to target and win new to bank business. Typically 80% of your focus will be on account management and development and 20% on new to bank activities.
You will focus wholly on financing transport assets encompassing HGV’s, LCV’s and car fleets for credit lines of £1m + only.
You will cover a large sales area from the West Sussex border north and east to Norfolk and every where east of that line working closely with not only customer but also parent bank corporate bankers.
You will be responsible for relatively modest growth plans on the £30m your customers financed in 2018. We are happy to share volume and margin targets with appropriately experienced applicants.
We are seeking applications only from those who currently or in the recent past have worked for a tier one bank asset financier in an asset finance sales role and possess both a strong record of success, good credit skills and a stable work record.
This is a contractually home based role to apply you must live on the sales area and preference will be given to applicants who are not living at the geographic extremes of the sales area.
Preferred applicants will have also experience of financing commercial vehicle assets and have gained that experience working with mid corporate or large corporate customers rather than in the SME / SMB sector.
Finally we are seeking applications from those who understand and believe in the positive behaviours needed to thrive in a regulated environment and therefore genuinely imbue the ethos of treating customers fairly, know your customer and compliance as operating principles.
In addition we are seeking those with good overall IT skills and the ability able to cope with sometimes complex, and sometimes bureaucratic administration processes.
