Our client are expanding their aviation finance division and are seeking to hire an additional business development manager to focus on financing new and used fixed wing and rotary assets typically from £100,000 to £10m.

Your role will be one of developing new business with a combination of approaches ranging from direct canvassing of airfields but also leveraging introductions via law firms and agents.

Our client offers a market competitive range of products and a willingness to do business with a wide range of covenants from high net worth individuals, SME’s to corporates via SPV’s. Funding can be completed in both $US and Sterling.

Your role will be one of achieving realistic targets and margins finding and managing deals from proposal write up through documentation to drawdown working closely with credit, legal and operations and asset management as required.

Candidate Profile

This will be a home based role, we are seeking applications from anywhere in England north to as far as Manchester from experienced and successful asset finance originators.

Ideally we seek applications from those with successful experience of aviation finance.

However our client has made it clear that they are very happy to receive applications from those with strong middle ticket asset finance sales experience and who have an interest in aviation assets and who wish to develop a career in aviation finance.

Whatever your background you will need not only good new business development skills but also well developed understanding of :

  • debt serviceability
  • deal structuring
  • pricing
  • documentation

The above being commensurate with a role where typical transaction sizes are usually £1m and a mandate extends to £10m.
