Our client a leading financier to the professions sector for whom we have recruited staff back to 2001 are seeking an Area Sales Manager to take over the highly performing sales area of all of Yorkshire and as far north as Newcastle.

You will inherit a highly performing sales area, vacant due to the internal promotion of the highly successful incumbent, you will be tasked with achieving volume, margin and income targets financing a broad range of assets into the dentistry, veterinary, ophthalmic and medical sectors.

Most business is done direct with the customer but our client also works to suppliers to the sector thus you can expect to deal not only with customers but also with tactically suppliers.

Targets are eminently achievable and we are happy to disclose these to suitably qualified applicants, excellent uncapped earnings are provided with monthly paid commission and also year end paid volume bonuses once specific milestones are achieved.

Candidate Profile

To apply you must live on the sales area and ideally not be located at its far extremities.

We are seeking a focussed, hungry and driven approach but crucially one also allied to professional high quality and timely service.

Ideally your background will be within the asset finance sector , even better if you have some professions finance experience but our client are open minded , they also welcome applications from those with asset class sales experience within the dentistry, medical, ophthalmic, veterinary sector who want to forge a career in finance and can be cross trained on our clients range of finance products to become an effective Area Sales Manager.

Whatever you exact experience you must have a stable work record, an unblemished credit history and be seeking a long term career move and possess a wide range of skills to be able to professionally manage and develop to its maximum potential your sales area.

As you will work largely autonomously, but with excellent administrative support, you will need to be a self starter but also someone who can work effectively as part of national sales team and as part of a larger group.
