Our client for whom we have successfully recruited extensively over many years are seeking a Dealer Manager to be part of its business unit focussed on driving business from nationally operating commercial vehicle dealer groups.

Your role will be one of further developing already established relationships with major commercial vehicle dealer groups where our client have already secured the right to do business and are already typically the dealer groups first choice alternative funder or seek to be, given their deep commercial vehicle finance sector knowledge and a flexible attitude to credit that takes into account recovery values in the event of default.

You will be selling out to customers at 9.00% + nominal reflecting the wider range of credits our client are able to finance and will be tasked with achieving very reasonable volumes of £9m a year , thus you must be someone who does need cheap money to be a success and are confident asking a customer to pay c10%.

The existing team of two delivered £40m in their last fiscal underling the expectation of the ability to significantly over achieve in the role.

Candidate Profile

You should ideally be based from Birmingham north, however our client are also willing to consider an West / East division of the UK instead so applications may be considered from those based in the South West Midlands / South Wales and as far South West as Bristol.

We are though seeking strong dealer driven experience of the asset finance sector, whilst commercial vehicle sector experience would be great to have, your asset class experience is less important than your experience of dealer driven business and crucially your attitude.

What is considered most important are your personal qualities and we quote the hiring Director of “ your tenaciousness, determination,  resilience, being able to be dogmatic and not giving up when you have doors slammed in your face”

Average deal sizes are £50,000 but transactions have been successfully closed in the last year to £4.5m in size underling the attractiveness of our clients products and services in a challenging market.

If you have the resilience needed to succeed and you really do desire and need an uncapped earning plan that will deliver you > £100,000 earnings for £9m a year at 9.0% then we are keen to talk with you.
