Our client a leading pan European vendor financier are seeking to hire a Netherlands based European Sales Manager.
You will lead and manage the activities of the sales department managing business across Netherlands, Belgium and Finland and will have two direct reports based in Netherlands and in Finland.

This will be delivered by achieving the mission of exceptional people, providing outstanding customer experiences today.
As a member of the Sales Management team, you will develop business with approved vendors that are typically part of our clients wider global group and also global key accounts as well as implementing cross divisional initiatives between the individual business units
You will support the development of a global common strategy, including the business in the energy efficiency and LED markets in particular through working on existing programs within your area of responsibility. New programme development is lead by a different team but once established new programmes then become your responsibility and that of your team to develop.
As part of the management team you will manage and lead the sales team across Netherlands , Belgium & Finland in the acquisition and retention of sustainable business achieving the agreed targets and motivating the sales team to do so and work collaboratively with other managers to create opportunities to support the success of the business
You will work with the European SLT to design and develop strategies for sustainable growth across all European regions. To enhance, develop and comply with all corporate governance requirements.
Targets to be achieved are realistic we are happy to share these with suitably qualified applicants and to give indications of our clients realistic growth plans into 2022
To apply you must be Netherlands based and you must have a strong sales leader background in the vendor finance sector.
This may be have been gained in hard assets, soft assets , of fast developing assets like green tech / clean tech and it may have been gained with a independent , a bank centric funder or a captive environment. What matters most are your skills rather than your particular asset class background.
You must have some experience of leading staff in a sales capacity , this is a pre requisite
If your leadership experience encompasses leading staff from more than one country and therefore you have experience of leading sales staff from differing cultures this would be ideal , but is not a limiting factor to apply.
You must be a Dutch and English speaker , if you happen to also speak French or indeed Finnish so much the better but the minimum to apply are business standard English and Dutch.

- Knowledge and understanding of working and dealing directly multiple stakeholders including supply chain.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement and process analysis.
- Knowledge of industry sector (vendor finance).
