To identify end user customer needs and position our client as the partner of choice. To design a strategy and go to market plans that identify, engage and convert direct prospects into funded customers.
You will have accountability for the entire sales cycle, but will be extensively supported by marketing in terms of lead generation and together you will construct and execute a strategy to build and close pipeline opportunities.
This is a fast paced, interactive role so you will need to be dynamic and agile, as you manage your own territory.
You will have a deep understanding of both your territory and target customers, and will be adept at converting prospects into new business, and influencing at all levels within the customer supply chain.
Core responsibilities will encompass:
Own your sales territory, identify key targets, prioritize prospects and engage at a senior level end user customers using a range of business development skills.
Reach and exceed realistic and achievable sales targets and goals. We are happy to discuss actual year 1 and year 2 targets with suitably qualified applicants
Provide accurate forecasting and maintain an up to date record of all opportunities in CRM.
Negotiate win-win solutions with key decision makers.
Develop prospective clients and increase business opportunities through various routes to market.
Research, develop and present compelling and customized sales proposals.
Work with our clients marketing division to evangelize the tactics and initiatives designed to engage prospects and build the pipeline.
Help influence and shape the product roadmap, providing first hand insight in to challenges and pain points experienced by prospects and feedback on our clients products, in conjunction with competitor knowledge.
Our client are flexible on location but to take best advantage of market opportunities we are most interested in applications from those no further west than Bristol , North of Leeds , or based in East Anglia

You will be a solutions sales specialist with experience in the IT services or IT Finance / Leasing sector.
You will be an experienced commercially astute sales professional who can recognise the value of our clients total offering and deliver it to senior stakeholders across multiple functions in a way that is both easily understandable and compelling.
You must have experience of selling direct to key decision makers across a range of functions eg CFO’s , CIO’s , CTO’s , CEO’s treasury , purchasing etc in business and have broad B2B sales experience, your experience should have been gained in an external sales capacity.
You will demonstrate that you are a proactive listener with the ability to hear and understand the needs of our customers to deliver a credible solution.
You will have the ability to collaborate and work productively with all internal stakeholders, across all areas of the business.
You will have demonstrable experience of being a classic new business ‘hunter’ and be happy to share evidence of your career successes.
You will have demonstrated capabilities right across the sales process.
You will have exceptional communication skills and be someone who hates standing still.
