Our client a class leading HGV financier are seeking an additional Fleet Sales Manager to join their highly successful national sales team financing new and used HGV’s . The position takes over a highly performing sales area following an internal promotion, your role will be to inherit and manage up finance volumes, margin income and finance penetration level across our clients fleet business.
You will work closely with customers to construct deals that suit their requirements working strategically with supply side colleagues actively engaging early in sales pipelines to ensure the early and pro-active use of finance to accelerate sales, improve margins and reduce order times.
Our client are seeking to hire a Fleet Sales Manager living between no further South than the M1 at J14 or North of the M62, please only apply if you are located within these broad geographical limits.
Beyond location we will favour applicants with experience of HGV finance over general asset finance your experience may have been gained with a captive HGV lessor and you are now seeking and ready for a larger fleet sales role or with a bank asset financier or with a major lease broker.
Ideally we seek experience of direct and dealer driven routes to market. However, if you have strong HGV finance experience and it has largely been direct driven we will be happy to promote you if we are confident you have not just the end user deal closing skills that you will have but the soft skills to build relations with supply side colleagues that will encourage them to want to bring you into their customers early not just when they find that the customer does not have capital approval for that 20 unit fleet they need.
You will also need a broad knowledge of HP, Finance Lease, Contract Hire etc and a good understanding of different structures, credit and the conceptual skills to confidently promote our clients value added products.
