Our client for whom we have placed a number of originations staff in this team over the last 10 years including the Sales Director to whom this vacancy reports are seeking to hire an additional Broker Manager.

You will join a high performing national sales team who focus on working with lease brokers who introduce larger and more complicated hard and soft asset deals typically from £1m+ in size with a typical deal being £3m to £4m.

You will inherit half a dozen lease brokers but be given a year 1 target of typically £10-12m in size.

This low year one target reflects the fact that this role requires a good degree of new business hunting both within the lease brokers you inherit and also tactically the prospecting of new lease brokers that can introduce the size of deals our clients seek at the rate they are successfully selling out at to lease brokers at.

We are happy to disclose the sell out rates typically being achieved to suitably qualified and experienced applicants.

You can expect in the role to be meeting C level decision maker at the customer on every deal you close and to be interrogating the cash flows of customer to support the proposal.

Candidate Profile

Ideally our client seeks to hire in the north of England , Manchester area would be ideal, however it has been made clear to us that they will actively consider strongly qualified applicants from the South of the UK.

To apply you must have a real depth of middle ticket deal structuring and deal closing experience , if you are someone who can evidence a deal list of £1m+ deals closed this would be ideal.

If you have existing experience of working with lease brokers this would make you a particularly strong fit but we actively encourage those with direct driven £1m+ experience who have the skills to transition to driving business from brokers to apply.

Whatever your exact route to market experience is you must have excellent cash flow analysis skills to be able to understand whether a deal is viable or not and then ability to structure it and or secure to make potentially make it viable.

You will also be someone whose career success has not been predicated on selling cheap money. We are seeking applications from those who sell on value not price but because the deals you close are high profitably you also expect to share in the profit you deliver, which you may not be now.

This is a role where there is clear potential to earn > £150,000 a year, for high achievers potentially higher earnings are available.
