Our client a fast developing division of a larger group are seeking an additional Vendor Business Development Manager to join a national sales team within which we have already placed two Vendor Business Development Managers this year.

Your role will be to work with the leadership team to identify, target and win new vendors who are seeking a strategic partner to offer managed services solutions to their customers.

Our client will finance both hard and soft assets and offers both B2B and B2C vendor programmes but the desire for this role is to focus on B2B programmes asset classes that are of interest include but are not limited to :

  • IT & Telecomms
  • Digital Print
  • Lighting
  • Solar Energy

You will be tasked with delivering achievable year 1 one targets which we are happy to discuss with suitably qualified applicants.

Whilst the role is expected to be 80% new vendor focussed you will be gifted existed vendor partners that are expected to generate 20% of your annual target.

Candidate Profile

Our clients are flexible on your location as it is expected that you will only need to visit head office once a month.

They are seeking a strong background in successful new vendor development , the asset class of your success is less material what matters is that you can demonstrate your success winning new vendors.

Preferred applicants with have personal vendor contacts than can be re-leveraged and would value partnering with a finance provider who have a can do approach to managed solutions finance.

You must have experience of setting up managed services solutions with vendor partners and have the commercial acumen to be able to work effectively with external lawyers regarding programme structure and documentation.

Finally we are seeking applicants who have the ability to write a clear and concise credit paper to support larger transactions that your partners introduce.

Excellent earnings exist for high performers with commission paid monthly in arrears and with no hurdle to cross before you start to earn.
