Salary range £65,000 - £70,000 + 15% end of year bonus + £5000 a year car allowance plus excellent benefits.
We have been engaged by a fast developing asset financier to help them source a Senior Broker Manager to further develop their business with lease brokers located in the Midlands.
Your focus will be on further developing existing lease brokers gaining market share by selling our clients well respected market proposition and identifying, targeting and winning new lease brokers.
The role is likely to be c50% existing broker management and 50% new business development.
You can expect to go to market with a competitive cost of money to your brokers, targets are set reasonably and dependent upon what you inherit, and the base salary you receive you can expect to be targeted to achieve between £15m and £20m of originations in 2023.
A team target approach is employed to encourage maximum collaboration. We are happy to discuss both volume and margin targets with suitably qualified applicants.
Our clients finance both hard and soft assets and offer financing for non regulated business for a wide range of deal sizes which we are happy to discuss with suitably experience applicants.
Candidate Profile
To apply you must located sensibly to cover the sales area of the Midlands – our client understands that the market is competitive for broker manager talent and as such we will entertain applications from those based as far south as North Hertfordshire , as far north at Nottingham , as far west Shrewsbury and as far east as Cambridge.
You must have the following:
- A minimum of 4 years operating as a Broker Manager in the SME sector of the asset finance marketplace.
- An existing broker customer base with which you can evidence strong and meaningful relationships.
- A record of hitting targets that you will want to share as you will be proud of your achievements, pay slips, P60’s, commendations that can be viewed not copied will all evidence this.
- An excellent understanding of pricing, margins, deal structuring with a superb overall attention to detail.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Sufficiently developed credit skills to understand a good deal from a bad one and how a potentially good one might be restructured or secured or both to make it acceptable.
- A team player mentality but one where you recognise you are accountable for your own target.
