The next Young Business Finance Professionals social event will be held this Wednesday, September 25 at the Hoxton Hotel in Holborn, London.

The networking evening is the latest in a series of successful events for the Young Business Finance Professionals organisation, which is designed to provide an opportunity for young professionals in the finance and leasing industry to meet, network and socialise with peers and senior executives.

Attendees at the event, held in association with The Leasing Foundation, will hear an inspiring presentation from Ed Jackson, a former professional rugby player whose decade-long career included playing for Bath, Wasps, London Welsh and the Gwent Dragons, before he suffered a spinal cord injury In 2017, which left him paralysed.

Despite being told he might never walk again, Jackson defied the odds and got back on his feet after intensive rehabilitation. Since then he has turned his sights to mountain climbing to improve awareness of spinal cord injuries and to raise funds for the charities that helped him.

He will inspire attendees with his views on overcoming adversity, resilience, courage and the power of positive thinking.
