The Asset Finance Professionals Association (AFPA) Trust has announced the return of the hugely successful AFPA Trust Big Quiz. Following a fantastic and well-supported inaugural event in 2023, this year's quiz promises another night of “friendly” competition, delicious food, and the chance to win a significant donation for your chosen charity as well as the coveted Rivermore Asset Finance donated AFPA Trust Big Quiz Trophy.

What truly sets the AFPA Trust Big Quiz apart is its empowering format. Unlike traditional fundraising events, every registered team gets to select their own charity to quiz for. This allows you to champion a cause that is personally meaningful to your team, making your victory even more rewarding.

The winning team will secure a £10,000 donation for their chosen charity. Second place wins a fantastic £3,000, and third place gets to give an amazing £1,000 to a charity of their choice.

And if this year’s Big Quiz winner is also an AFPA Trust Charity Partner, a further donation will be made to a charity of their choice equal to 50% of their Charity Partner payment – so if the winner is a Gold Charity Partner they will receive £11,000 to a charity of their choice.

The 2023 AFPA Trust Big Quiz was a close and exciting competition with 22 quiz teams battling it out for the top prize for their chosen charity.

InterBay Asset Finance’s quizzing team took first place in the inaugural AFPA Trust Big Quiz, demonstrating impressive knowledge and superb teamwork to secure a £10,000 donation for their selected charity DePaul after winning by one single point against the VIP Apps Consulting team.

And InterBay's parent company, OSB was so inspired by their team's win that they generously matched the £10,000 donation, effectively doubling the impact for chosen charity DePaul. This incredible act of solidarity perfectly embodies the collaborative spirit of the AFPA community.
