Stonebriar Commercial Finance has appointed Stewart Jones and Grant Fate as senior investment manager and capital markets associate, respectively.
Jones joins Stonebriar from the UK, where he was employed as a senior credit manager with Close Brothers Asset Finance, underwriting credit profiles similar those underwritten by Stonebriar.
His previous positions include roles with Barclays Bank and Barclays Asset Finance. In his new job, Jones will primarily focus on underwriting general equipment transactions supporting Stonebriar’s expanded originations staff.

Stewart brings significant experience in our space and new perspectives from across the pond that will enhance Stonebriar’s investment underwriting. Fate joins Stonebriar from CBAM Partners, a New York-based alternative investment management firm.
